A high-productivity horizontal machining centre with a BT30 spindle, featuring a generous clamping range, a 30-tool magazine and a high-speed B-axis table.
This enables the machining of large or long workpieces, which was not possible on conventional BT30 machines.
By utilising the benefits of integrated machine and
control development – such as a spindle with rapid acceleration and deceleration, faster and optimised tool change, and an inertia estimation function – it has been possible to achieve exceptionally high productivity.
The machine is fitted with a highly efficient, high-performance spindle motor, including a newly developed standard spindle motor rated at 12,000 rpm and a newly developed, highly rigid spindle.
Thanks to the experience gained with CAE analysis technologies during the development of the SPEEDIO series, it has been possible to achieve both high spindle speed and high rigidity in the machine.
The machine is characterised by high machining performance, as it supports a 7 MPa high-pressure coolant system and is fitted with a B-axis table with high clamping torque.
The apps and the vertical 15-inch LCD touchscreen enable intuitive operation.
Waste-free operation is possible in the areas of set-up, processing settings, production and the recovery process, leading to improved work efficiency and operational rates.
Usability has been enhanced by positioning the control panel on the side of the machine.
